In December and January we are being visited by a triple bill of talent from the incredible West-End cast of 'In The Heights'.  These West-End professionals are coming in to work with our students to share their talent and expertise with our aspirational young performers in training.  The talented trio are currently playing the leading roles of Usnavi, Nina and Carla in the show and each has an incredible talent to share with our students.

Our Training

The full time students at Arts1 spend intensive hours every week training their craft in all disciplines of performance: Ballet, Jazz, Commercial Dance, Voice, Acting, Solo Singing, Body conditioning, Choral Singing… the list goes on! But students at the school also have incredible opportunities to work with some of the UK’s biggest names in theatre and performance.

Our Masterclass programme brings in a new industry figure every week to give our students the ultimate experience in expanding their professional network whilst learning from the best in the business.

About In the Heights

In The Heights is one of the hottest tickets in the West-End, it’s different from anything else around: the style of music and the storytelling are unique. Beginning as a word-of-mouth sensation on Broadway back in 2008, audiences have come back time and time again to see IN THE HEIGHTS, a Tony award winning musical from Lin-Manuel Miranda, the man behind the critically acclaimed HAMILTON – soon to be making its West End debut. Vibrant, funny, and life-affirming, IN THE HEIGHTS explores the issues affecting society through modern dialogue, hip hop and street dance.
