I first met James in 2007 when I attended the arts educational school in Chiswick. I hadn’t had any vocal training before up until that point so it was all very new to me! James made it so easy for me to understand and the short time I was at the school I learnt lots from him! It was in a lesson with James where I first heard about the audition for I’d do anything to audition for the role of Nancy! James turned to me (mid-song!!) and told me I should audition because he thought I would be right for it…. So I did!! And it turned out to be the best advice I had ever had because doing the tv show provided me with so much experience and gave me the opportunity to work with the likes of Andrew Lloyd webber, idina Menzel and Liza minelli! A few years after taking part in “I’d do anything” and I have been lucky to have had some great jobs and fantastic experiences! I am currently rehearsing to play Nancy in the national tour of Oliver! Which is kind of ironic… all thanks to James!
