Arts1 is a non-for-profit organisation that charges fees to enable us to provide a range of exciting and diverse high quality opportunities for students of all ages and levels from the Milton Keynes community.

Group classes are charged at £11 per hour and a discount of between 20% and 40% is available for households engaging in multiple classes each week.

Arts1 also offers a range of one to one classes. Please contact us for more information on one to one sessions.

Arts1 students can get involved in a world of wonderful opportunities events outside of their regular classes, these extra activities take place throughout the academic year.

Examinations

Many of our classes are taught using the world's leading examination boards from the world of Dance, Acting and Singing. Syllabus dance classes are taught using the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing and Royal Academy of Dance examinations, Actors have the opportunity to get involved with London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts examinations and singers and instrumentalists can get stuck into the Associated Boards of the Royal Schools of Music syllabus. We have a busy examination timetable that means students continually progress in their chosen subject gaining qualifications that are internationally recognised and at the higher levels bring additional UCAS points.

Festivals and performance

We love to find out about competitive platforms and events for students that want to take their learning further to get involved with. We have created several in house platforms including a festival of the arts for singers, actors and dancers to receive an adjudication from top industry judges as well as getting involved with the Milton Keynes Festival of the Arts as a fantastic local platform for our young performers.

Workshops and Masterclasses

We love to bring in incredible performers and creatives to the school to work with our students, this might be stars from the stage and screen or creatives that work to create Theatre, TV & Film.

Arts1 students of all ages describe our school as a big family, the experience they have in class is just as much about building friendships and bonds with their peers as it is about developing wonderful skills in a professional environment. We love to watch our young performers grow in our supportive environment and recognise that we are only able to perform at our best when we feel safe, confident and supported by a team of people.

Arts1 has a reputation for producing productions of a professional standard, we surround our students with a production team of the highest level in our large scale productions which we produce every year.

We LOVE to work with an incredibly diverse range of individuals at Arts1, boys have traditionally been under represented in Dance, at Arts1 we have boys training with us at every level and are happy to provide a space for those boys that love to move and perform.
