The Dance course at Arts provides a specialist vocational training programme for students to pursue a career in Dance. The Dance course has a highly technical foundation training students in the core disciplines of Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary alongside an incredible range of supportive disciplines and styles. Arts1 dancers have the opportunity to learn the essential craft and artistry to take your next step in your development. Students on the Dance course train intensively in their core skills which are taught by an expert faculty of talent trainers alongside an exclusive programme of Masterclasses and workshops. This course is suitable for students that want to train intensively in Dance with an aspiration for a high level Dance career.

Dance as a career

Taking a subject that is your passion and turning it into your career is a big step. At Arts1 we train students in the core craft and artistry that is required in a high level dance career. There is an emphasis at Arts1 for excellent technique as a basis for all our dance training, we nurture extremely high level dancers through a programme of classes, masterclasses and workshops.

Equivalent to 3 A-Levels and with an internationally recognised awarding body, the Dance course will prepare you for your next step in education or performance. The highly experienced staff team work to develop our students into highly skilled Dancers. The Dance course at Arts1 is unlike a standard BTEC taught in a school or college setting, it has several unique features including intensive contact hours and specialist delivery that give our students the edge in performance.
