What an incredible Weekend at Move It 2017! Students from across the school joined us at the UK's top Dance and Musical Theatre exhibition at the London Excel centre. At our stand we met hundreds of aspiring young performers whilst our students watched performances from some of the UK's finest institutions. On Saturday our Sixth form students took to the stage to wow the audience with our performance of Under Pressure - a piece inspired by the Syrian refugee crisis created by Leanne Hughes with vocal arrangements by James Grimsey. The performance received incredible feedback from some of the leading schools in the UK and our students can be very proud of the work.
Arts1 Creative director took to the Performing arts studio to lead two workshops – the first an introduction to Estill Voice training, followed by a voice Masterclass for dance and fitness professionals. We had students scouted for professional opportunities in Dance and Modelling and thanks to our students performances increased our standing with professional training institutions. Thank you for everyone involved, it was a massive team effort and you should all be incredibly proud.
