Student Story

I have been a student at Arts1 for 4 years and I am also represented by the agency, Arts1 Management. James Grimsey is my singing teacher and he has helped me with my vocals. I attend weekly individual vocal sessions and also dance classes at the school which have helped me develop my performance skills.

Arts1 has given me amazing opportunities and experience to work in the theatre and I have been lucky enough to successfully audition for professional roles. I have had some wonderful opportunities and met some inspiring people including Andrew Lloyd Webber. My first professional job was performing as Tomika in School of Rock in the West End. I also played the part of Sara Crewe in The Little Princess at The Royal Festival Hall working with Andrew Lippa and Arlene Phillips and played Amber in David Walliams stage version of The Midnight Gang at the Chichester Festival Theatre which was directed by Dale Rooks and adapted by Bryony Lavery.
