Arts1 was founded in 2006 by Principal Rebecca Carrington and Creative Director James Grimsey. Our award winning school is proud to be founded in Milton Keynes and our wonderful team of specialist teachers and coaches nurture the talents of over 500 young people and adults each week.


We have an incredible range of part-time classes for children, young people and adults that take place on weekdays after school and at the weekend.

Jazz, Lyrical & Contemporary

Adam Scott

Adam is a freelance teacher & choreographer and teaches Jazz & Tap at Urdang Academy & Stella Mann College. Adam has also been part of the “Can You Dance?” teaching faculty for 2 years teaching masterclasses all across the UK, as well as delivering workshops at various schools, colleges and dance conventions including “Move It”.




Adams’ credits include: ‘Pepper’ Mamma Mia! (Royal Caribbean International) Ensemble “That’s Entertainment” (UK Tour) ‘Scintilla Dance’ American Jazz Company Training, ‘Ensemble’ Pantomime (Millfield Theatre Enfield) , ‘One from the heart, Qdos’ (Chelmsford Civic) , Jordan productions (Kings Lynn Corn Exchange)

Adams’ other credits: Commercial Adverts include brands such as Hasbro Toys, McDonalds, M&S. Dancer at Wembley stadium as part of “Mass Movement” 2012 Fa Cup final.
