Achievements

She was a full time pupil of Sylvia Young Theatre School and then carried on her professional training at Laine Theatre Arts, graduating with three diplomas: Musical Theatre, Professional Theatre and the LTA Teaching Diploma in addition to passing her Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Associate teaching examinations in Ballet, Tap and Modern with Distinction. This is where she found her love of choreography, and she finally realised her dream of becoming principal of her own successful Theatre School in Leighton Buzzard which is highly acclaimed.

Many of her former pupils are now professional dancers and teachers and Leanne is very proud to have students accepted at all the major colleges, including Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College, Performers, Arts Educational, Stella Mann, Masters and Urdang. She has also had pupils accepted into The Royal Ballet School, Laban and Northern Contemporary School. Leanne also enjoys adjudicating at dance festivals around the country and guest tutoring at performing arts establishments delivering unique master classes in jazz, modern, lyrical and contemporary.

Leanne is very excited to be joining the faculty at Arts1, where she is looking forward to teaching jazz with her own particular contemporary style.

Her philosophy is that hard work reaps rewards, and her aim is to help every student realise his or her potential.
