Arts1 brings together a dynamic staff team of highly experienced teachers and exciting and accomplished creatives. Our inspiring teaching team are experts in training talent and we have developed our craft in nurturing young performers through years of relevant industry practise.

Pricing

All Arts1 group class fees are based on a standard rate of £11 per hour.
Payments are made by monthly Direct Debit.

Facilities

The foyer at Arts1 is a bright and airy space, full of creativity and energy. Refreshments can be purchased on-site and you check your e-mails on the visitor Wi-Fi.

Arts1 School of Performance: James White

Dance Tutor

James White

James Is a performer, choreographer, teacher and adjudicator originally from leighton buzzard. He trained at Leanne Hughes Theatre School and then proceeded to go on the 6th form course at Arts 1. James then went on to Bird College where he gained his Ba(hons) in professional musical theatre and dance with a first class honours. Whilst at college James also trained for his DDE in Modern, under the guidance of Ruth Armstrong, Belinda Basu and Lyn Richardson. He is due to finsh this November 2024.

Professional credits: 

Henchman/ Ariel understudy in Effectors(RCCL), Dancer/Vocalist in Showgirl: past, present, future(RCCL), Ensemble in The Pantomime Adventures Of Peter Pan(Manchester Opera House)

TV and Film credits:

Dancer in London International Horse Show (BBC), SPACT in Masters of the Air( Apple TV)

Credits while in training:

Featured Dancer in Moulin Rogue: AED gala(London Coliseum), Gangster and Ensemble in 42nd street(Doreen Bird Foundation Theatre), Ensemble/ cover Zach, Mike and Don in A Chours Line(Doreen Bird Foundation Theatre), Featured dancer at Move It 2022 and 2023(Excel)
