Hannah trained in teaching at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance where she gained her BA Honours degree in Ballet Education.
Originally from Leicester, Hannah began her training at DuPont Dance Stage School and competed as a dancer throughout the UK in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Musical Theatre. From there she went on to study a Theatre Dance degree for two years at the highly acclaimed London Studio Centre, before transferring with a scholarship to complete a three year Ballet Education degree at the Royal Academy of Dance.
Hannah has taught dance in a variety of settings and also trained with Darcey Bussell to become a qualified DDMIX instructor which has enabled her to work across a wide age group in both dance and dance fitness.
Prior to her work at Arts1 Hannah has been able to use her choreographic skills, working towards performances of ‘Calamity Jane’ and ‘Chicago’, as dance teacher and production choreographer for Bright Lights Theatre Company.
Hannah has also gained valuable experience of working alongside a physiotherapist at Leicester Royal Infirmary which has increased her understanding of the dancers body and rehabilitation.
Hannah is passionate about the importance of Ballet as the cornerstone of all dance forms. She believes dancing restores joy, develops confidence, builds social skills and enables greater focus both in and outside of the classroom.
