Gemma Boaden
Gemma graduated from Rose Bruford College in 2005 and has worked in the West End, for No 1 Touring Theatre Companies as well as in Film, Voice-Over, and Commercials.
As a voice coach she has worked with Tambai Productions, Gazebo Theatre Company, Almeida Theatre, on West End and International Tours for Wizard Theatre Company and the Royal & Derngate Theatres. Gemma’s specialism is in spoken voice, and she qualified as an Estill Master Trainer (EMT) in April 2018 and became a fellow of the HEA (Higher Education Academy) in 2017.
Gemma is also a director of her own voice company TemperVox, which specialises in accent work and presentation skills for professionals in industry and corporate clients.
At present, Gemma is undertaking her PhD in voice work, focussing on creating psychological vocal profiles through hybridising the work of Estill voice training and mainstream imaginative approaches.
Gemma was the recipient of the UON Lecturer of the Year Award 2021 and the UON Education Changemaker of the Year Award 2022
