Charlotte Morrell

Charlotte studied at Elmhurst School for Dance, graduating with a National Dance Diploma and teaching qualifications with the ISTD. After studying, she went on to her professional dance career including many pantomimes, films, commercials and touring with Europe’s biggest circus, Circus Krone. Deciding she wanted to continue into teaching, Charlotte returned to her home county of Devon and worked alongside her past dance teachers at Totnes School of Dance teaching ISTD, RAD and IDTA work, as well as teaching on the Level 3 BTEC course, with many of her students achieving triple Distinction successes and progressing to some of the UK's leading institutions. Charlotte’s students have also had success in competitions including the All England Dance Finals and The Dance World Cup.

Moving to London, Charlotte has taught for READ College, D&B Academy of Performing Arts, Jacqui Ison Theatre School, Italia Conti Theatre School and various others, teaching Modern Dance, Jazz, Tap, Street Jazz, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Classical Greek and Ballet. She was also choreographer for three pantomimes in Bermuda, working with a creative team flown in from England.

Now after having taught in Bermuda for the past four years she is extremely excited to be back in the UK and teaching at Arts1 in both the part time school and tas part of the vocational sixth form team.
