Classroom Chaperone

Amelia Elborough

Amelia first joined Arts1 in 2008 when she started attending Musical Theatre classes as a young child. After taking a break from Musical Theatre she then rejoined the school to take up a range of dance classes and is now training full time in the second year of the Arts1 Vocational Sixth Form.

Amelia would love to pursue a professional performance career in Musical Theatre and dance, with her dream being to one day play the role of Peggy in 42nd Street. Alongside performing she is keen to qualify as a dance teacher and is pleased to be gaining experience in the classroom as a teaching assistant and chaperone with Arts1. Amelia has been a classroom chaperone at Arts1 since 2018 and has supported children in productions as well as in their weekly sessions.

As a dancer her favourite style is tap and she is a committed member of Tap Attack Associates, a high level tap company who select members by audition only.

Away from Arts1 Amelia loves all things science and maths, so much so that she is taking an A level in Maths for fun in her spare time!
