If you’re considering professional musical theatre training, this is your chance to experience what it actually feels like.

Inside Arts1 is a full-day Musical Theatre Degree Open Day experience for prospective students. You’ll train across acting, singing and dance, work with Arts1 tutors and selected industry practitioners, meet current Degree students and explore what the industry expects from the next generation of performers.

This isn’t a traditional university open day. It’s a practical introduction to triple-threat musical theatre training at a degree course level including special industry guests which are to be announced.

The sessions are designed to give you a genuine feel for degree-level musical theatre training. You’ll work on technique, storytelling, character, musicality, communication and ensemble skills, rather than simply learning a routine or performing a song.

Everyone follows the same core programme so you’ll experience training across all three musical theatre disciplines: acting, singing and dance.

Our Live Industry Panel will bring together working professionals and Arts1 graduates to talk honestly about the musical theatre industry.

They’ll discuss auditions, versatility, professionalism, resilience and what creative teams are looking for from performers entering the industry now.

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and hear perspectives from people working across different areas of the profession.
