Master the art of playfulness in acting!

Suitable for 10+ year olds

Arts1 is bringing you another one-off workshop! This time it's Clowning with Helen Clifford.

Clowning in acting is all about being playful, expressive, and connecting with an audience in fun and creative ways. It focuses on using big movements, silly facial expressions, and exploring emotions to make people laugh or feel something real.

Clowning teaches you to embrace mistakes and turn them into funny or meaningful moments, while also being brave enough to show your true self on stage. It’s not just about comedy—it’s about telling stories, being creative, and finding joy in performing.

We're so excited to be offering this as part of our Theatre Workshop classes, and open it up to students who aren't enrolled in that class too.
