Hi all, the details are the same as per the previous performances, one free pass per performer with discount for anyone else in the car. Please bring waterproof clothing to the rehearsal!!! On the positive side forecast for the weekend looks good. Sunday the shows are being professionally filmed for promotional use and there will be interviews etc!
Friday rehearsal
11am - 3pm
Please enter via the Turnpike road entrance and keep to the left on your way in, the friendly man (we hope!) has everyone's names and will let you into the park. We will meet next to the Car Park in the undercover area (on all days!)
Saturday and Sunday
Arrive at 10.00 (Same route)
Performances are at 12.00, 2pm, 4pm and 5.30pm
We should be clear by 6.00pm
Dear James and all Arts1 performers
On behalf of everyone at Woburn, I just wanted to say a huge thank you once again for all of your efforts over this weekend. You were all absolutely amazing and we have received nothing but positive feedback about you. It was clear how much work and effort had gone into this and we were all astounded by the level of enthusiasm, professionalism and commitment. I have never experienced so much positivity about a new venture and so many of our staff are eager to have you come back again! You provided us with a performance worthy of professional performers (and better than many professionals I have seen).
We have a couple of people to specifically thank:
James-you have been an absolute star from start to finish. Arts1 have been one of the most friendly, professional and pleasant companies that I have ever worked with. Thank you for your patience and understanding when getting this set up and for all of your flexibility. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you on this and I look forward to working with you more in the future!
Abi-you are such a talented young person. You solo completely blew us away and people here are still talking about it! I know how ill you had been the night before so thank you for continuing! Your singing moved so many people and it was such a great moment in the performance. It was an absolute pleasure to watch you sing.
Amy- you are an absolute star! All of our team loved your performance. I know that you were not feeling well either but you kept going like a complete pro! Your energy and enthusiasm was fantastic and we absolutely loved you!
Charlie-you did a fantastic job as a lion cub! You were brilliant and so full of energy!
Bethan-you have a fantastic voice and it was a pleasure to hear you sing.
Jack-you were brilliant and we all loved the character you played! Thanks for taking all of the teasing so well!
Ashley-you played the part of a rhino so well! Rhinos are pretty special to us here at Woburn and you completely captured the spirit of them! Your performance was brilliant-so much like one of our male rhinos, Arthur, that is was fantastic. Arthur has been with us since the early 1970s so to see him as part of the show made it incredibly special for us. One of my colleagues has been at Woburn since Arthur arrived and it meant so much to him to see that. It was a sign of your talent that you could pull off being a rhino (not an easy animal to portray!).
Gary-you have amazing stage presence and your performances were awesome.
Sophie-you are an amazing dancer and the way you look after and help the younger performers is brilliant
All performers showed such talent-whether it was singing, dancing or acting you were all brilliant. We felt completely honoured to be having such a talented group of young performers with us on this very special weekend. You made this weekend something to remember and you should be so proud of what you accomplished (James should be very proud of you as well). I know the timescale was tight and that you faced challenges (such as gravel dust, extremely hot temperatures, runaway parrots, a mad cat and me!) but you dealt with all of them like professionals.
I really enjoyed getting to know some of you-it was great spending time with such enthusiastic and positive young people. I’m only sorry that I didn’t get to know you all but I’m hoping I will have the chance to in the future. It was a pleasure being around such well mannered, respectful and polite young people and our staff that met you felt the same.
Thank you all once again for all of your efforts this weekend. It was a pleasure to have you here and I look forward to working with you all soon!
