Arts1 provides full-time performing arts training for 16 – 18 year olds in Milton Keynes. Providing outstanding training in state-of-the-art facilities gives our young performers the best training ground to develop their skills and train their talent. Our teaching faculty has a reputation for training some of the UK’s leading talent and we are dedicated as a school to creating an international reputation for nurturing outstanding young performers to the next step in their training.

Our full-time courses are the equivalent to 3 A Levels and are the most intensive funded courses in the region. Our school gives young people the ability to specialise in either Dance or Musical Theatre – targeting each students training programme to the balance of skills they require to fulfil their potential in performance.

Gabriella and Ivano are currently training at The Urdang Academy. Gabriella has featured as lead vocalist on Pitch Battle for BBC1. During his training at Arts1 Ivano performed a vocalist in Gargantua for the National Theatre Connections 500 project. in 2019 Ivano performed his professional debut in Cinderella at the Belgrade theatre.
Sarah Ikumu | Milton Keynes
Sarah Ikumu appeared on Britains Got talent in 2017 as Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer. Sarah attends Arts1 Sixth Form, developing her range of performance skills whilst performing internationally, writing new material and recording in the studio.

Grace Foster is currently training at the Institute for the Arts Barcelona on their BA(hons) degree in Musical Theatre. Grace loved the idea of training internationally and auditioned for IAB as part of Arts1 on site audition programme where quality institutions are invited to attend Arts1 to audition our highly skilled students.
Luke Whalley (Laine Theatre Arts), Michelle McGlen (Brighton Academy) with Poppy Felton (Gap Year). Each year our students take part in a showcase to celebrate the work of second year students before they leave to take their next steps. During this performance our students work with a professional creative team to produce a production of the highest vocational standard.
