Joseph Auditions
The Auditions for the professional touring production of Joseph will take place from 1.45 - 3.45 on Saturday 17th July at Ousedale School in Newport Pagnell.  The Auditions will take the form of a workshop with Arts1 Creative Director James Grimsey and Amanda Grimsey.  Amanda runs a Theatre School in Nottingham and has held the contracts for all the professional tours across Nottingham and Derby for the past 5 years.  Having worked on Joseph many times Amanda will be working with our young performers in order to select those appropriate to this contract.

Details:  Performers for this contract can be aged between 6 and 14, the producers (Bill Kenwright) have requested that young people in the top part of this age bracket should still look like children (not teenagers!).  Consider this when preparing for your audition.  Selected performers will then need to be formally licensed through Milton Keynes council as time will be required off school during the performance week.

The performance dates are Tuesday 09 November  to Sunday 14 November 2010
Rehearsals will be held on several sunday afternoons in September and October.

Performers will need to be transported to and from the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on performance days.  Parents who are willing to share lifts etc will be used offered where appropriate.
All performers will receive an official certificate from the producers to recognise their contribution to this fantastic show. 

Before the audition please be familiar with the song ‘close every door to me’ you will be taught everything you need to know in the audition, however being familiar with the tune will really help you out!

All Arts1 students are more than welcome to attend and try out for this exciting show!!!
